Training
Every Scout deserves a trained leader! The BSA offers a range of in-person and online training for all adults. Please log into your My.Scouting account to complete training for your position, including Youth Protection Training.
For more information about training available from the National Capital Area Council, please see this website.
Adult volunteers who have completed their basic training should take on the next challenge … Wood Badge, the highest level of Scout training offered!
For High Adventure trips, adult leaders should also consider taking CPR and Wilderness First Aid, which are often required certifications.
